SASKA KĘPA DEFENCE COMMEMORATION EVENT

Just a day later in another corner of the district another group of interest - the KOS Foundation - organised a small but very moving event to commemorate the defense of the Francuska/Zwycięzców Street barricade. At the place - the oldest Polish boy scout Feliks Waśkiewicz and Jan Kossakowski (the slightly older guy) - an eyewitness of the events. Mr Jan Kossakowski is also a co-author of a great book that is my key source of information to this area. The books title is "Praskie Barykady - Południowa flanka (southern flank)". Of course I did purchase the 2018 - newer, longer, more interesting - version of the publication.
